HMS Victory: the Nation’s Flagship

Marcon were appointed as Principal Contactor to work alongside hsd to deliver the design and build contract for the HMS Victory gallery in Portsmouth.

The interpretive fit out focuses primarily on the ship and transforms the visitor experience drawing on key iconic artefacts and resources. Visitors are also introduced to the people behind the ship’s 256-year history.

The gallery is spread across two floors and has created over 10,000 sq ft of new exhibition space.

Marcon delivered all specialist joinery works and bespoke furniture items. As well as managing and co-ordinating all specialist elements, digital and mechanical interactives; immersive AV Installations; graphics and specialist lighting requirements.
