Ulster Museum – Marking Centenaries
Project Overview
Marcon were appointed as Principal Contractor for the temporary exhibition at the Ulster Museum to mark the centenary of the formation of Northern Ireland.
The exhibition explores the subject of the partition of Ireland, addressing political, social, economic, and cultural change, and the wider international context. It focused on the partitioning of Ireland between 1920 and 1922 and the impact and legacy of this period on communities in Northern Ireland today.
The exhibition incorporated stories and there were various objects on display to help visitors build an understanding of the early ‘Troubles’ in Northern Ireland and explore its contemporary relevance.
