Oweninny Wind Farm Visitor Centre
Project Overview
Marcon has completed the exhibition fit-out in the new 7000 sq ft Oweninny Wind Farm Visitor Centre which incorporates an interactive exhibition space, café, toilets and a retail area to support the Oweninny Wind Farm in Co, Mayo, Ireland.
The exhibition focuses on science, engineering and technology related to renewable energy. It promotes initiatives on caring for our planet through raising awareness of climate change and promoting the use of wind turbines. It also considers the landscape in which the wind farm is based, characteristics of the natural environment, the bog flora, fauna and wider landscape.
